[ WHAT IT IS ]

Brand identity work covers the logo, visual identity, type and colour direction, and a usage guideline document. It's the foundational framework every other piece of marketing reads against - get it wrong and every campaign fights uphill; get it right and everything compounds.

The work is one-off, not retainer-based. We scope it per brand because the depth varies - a category-leading streetwear brand needs more framework than a local coffee shop. The starting price reflects the minimum credible work; the actual quote depends on scope.

Independent brands at one of two moments - launching for the first time, or rebranding after outgrowing the original identity. Strongest fit when the brand has a clear point of view and a real audience already, even if small.

The framework we run, every time, regardless of tier.

    Diagnose the brand

    Workshops, interviews, audit of current materials, competitor and category analysis. We don't design until we understand what we're designing for.

  2. 02

    Define the territory

    Strategic positioning statement, audience personas, brand attributes, tone of voice. The design follows the strategy, not the other way round.

  3. 03

    Design the identity

    Logo, visual language, typography, colour palette, photography direction. Usually 2-3 directions presented, then a single direction refined through revisions.

  4. 04

    Build the guidelines

    A document your team and any future agency can work from - covering logo usage, type hierarchy, colour rules, photographic direction, voice examples, and applications across formats.

  5. 05

    Hand over

    Final files in all required formats, a guidelines PDF, source files where requested. Your brand from there on - not a Phase Two-shaped version of it.

[ WHAT IT COSTS ]

Brand identity projects are sold as one-off engagements with a starting price reflecting the minimum credible scope. Final quote depends on the number of touchpoints, depth of guideline, and level of strategic research. Not included in any retainer tier - often the gateway into a longer retainer relationship afterwards. The full pricing list shows the starting figure.
